Our latest winter bird survey photo gallery

Here are some of the latest photos from our ongoing wintering bird surveys. We hope you enjoy the series of photographs provided below – all of which were taken during the period late January to early February 2015. The photos include Whooper Swans, Bewick’s Swans, Curlew and Greylag Geese, and were selected from photos taken during a number of ongoing surveys in Counties Galway, Roscommon and Offaly.

Most of our wintering bird survey work will be used to inform the Natura Impact Statements (to inform the Appropriate Assessment process) and Ecological Impact Assessments (to inform Environmental Impact Assessments) being prepared for a number of proposed wind energy developments. We are Ireland’s largest independent ecological consultancy, and we are experts in providing ecological surveys and ecological impact assessments.
