Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology

Dr. Will O’Connor was recently elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology. Dr. O’Connor is the Principal Ecologist and Managing Director of ECOFACT – Ireland’s leading independent ecological and environmental consultancy. Dr. O’Connor accepted this prestigious appointment for his prominent contribution to the advancement of the biological sciences, and in particular aquatic ecology.

Commenting on his election to the Society, Dr. O’Connor said “I am absolutely delighted with this recognition, and plan to use this appointment to further my efforts to improve the protection of Irish rivers, wetlands and the vulnerable species which inhabit these areas“.
